Tourism Marketing Case Study
An ambitious e-commerce start-up: a custom-built online holiday letting marketplace which specialised in offering accessible holiday accommodation to disabled guests. The business model was based on a disruptive community-based business model (aka Airbnb), a commercial business to be run on social enterprise principles providing ‘accessibly accommodation for all’.
Developed the strategy, brand, content, SEO and built the online marketplace platform. The brand identity and website design were developed in Edinburgh. The custom website development was outsourced to India. Christopher Lamotte conceived and developed Yes Holidays, winning a Social Entrepreneur’s Award. A challenging learning experience!
