As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing with an MBA (Warwick) and a Diploma in Digital Marketing, I have 30 years of experience of managing rapidly growing businesses, launching new products, working with start-ups and challenging turn-arounds.

Christopher Lamotte has worked with more than 250 small and medium sized businesses successfully delivering results-driven, holistic marketing consultancy, with marketing strategies, websites and digital marketing since the start of the digital revolution in 1992.
My career has included marketing management and board level experience in telecoms, software, education, hospitality and professional property services: ScottishTelecom (Thus plc); Orbital Software plc; Phonebox (later Vianet plc); an e-learning software start-up; a marketing & management consultancy; and Winton Castle.
A former practising chartered surveyor, Christopher also has valuable experience in property development, and buying and selling properties with Ogilvy Chalmers, Quality Street Residential Investments, Brixton plc, Chestertons, King & Co (King Sturge) and Ryden.
I also enjoy volunterring as a trustee for two local charitable trusts, the Haddington Garden Trust SCIO and Crichton Collegiate Church.

My focus on growing my clients’ businesses, and themselves as individuals, is represented by Real Marketing Transformation’s logo, based on the Koru. The Koru is a Moari symbol of growth and evolution, a spiral that looks like an unfurling fern. A spiral is also an ancient symbol of progress and growth in Celtic cultures.
My mission is to help businesses progress, evolve and grow with ‘real’ marketing, based on research, analysis and long term thinking to drive profitable sales.
